Are tempers flaring often these days as the physical, emotional, and economical demands of raising multiple children continue to take their toll? Are you stressed out at this time?

Perhaps not, but we've been there, and there are times we still wonder if we will ever walk out of "our desert" and come out on the other side.

But while we are walking in this desert (just as the Israelites did for 40 years), God does provide us with the resources we need to make it thru to the next day, or next milestone.  His provision might be small things (a shade tree to temporarily protect us from the scorching heat), or they can be great, unexpected blessings that sustain us like springs of living water surrounded by palm trees which serve to completely refresh us for the next leg of our adventure.

If He wants to He can migrate the quail to come our way whenever we need help in big ways, or we can be sustained with just enough of what we need as he provides us with our daily manna.  We just need to follow Him through the desert, as He knows where all the green pastures are.

Take and get refreshed by one of those springs He provides for us, His Living Word preached to us fresh and new everyday.  Richard has his sermons on Podcast, and if you click on our Church's website, you can reference any one of his preaching series that he has taught regarding so many relevant family life issues.

Refreshment!

While I realize that many of my readers will come from various religious and non-religious backgrounds, I still wanted to add this inspirational video to my site.  I have depended on the saving blood of Jesus to give me all the help I've needed when it comes to raising four children, and trying to be a wife, as well.  Without Him, I have no idea where I'd be as a mom, and pretty sure that my kids would be taking the easy paths that so many of their peers are following, and are lost.  This video's song inspired me, and I hope gives you the same kind of inspiration to keep you going on the right path.
